A: Yes. We offer a Plate and Frame version of the stainless steel press specifically designed for holding filter paper or cardboard pads for ultra-fine filtration (0.2 – 1 micron).
Is the hydraulic system also stainless steel?
A: The hydraulic cylinder body can be clad in stainless steel, and the oil tank can be made of SS304. The internal piston rod is typically hard chrome plated for durability.
Q: How do you ensure the surface finish?
A: We sandblast and polish all stainless steel surfaces. For pharma applications, we can provide Mirror Polishing (Ra < 0.4µm) upon request.
