Economic Manual Jack Filter Press
Not every filtration project needs a fully automated, expensive system. For small workshops, pilot testing, or remote sites with unstable power supply, simplicity is key.
Manual Jack Filter Press is our most economical model. It uses a robust mechanical screw jack or a simple hydraulic jack to provide the necessary closing pressure. With zero electricity consumption for the closing mechanism and an easy-to-maintain design, it offers the best value for money for small-scale operations.
Why Choose Manual? Filtration Made Easy
1. Lowest Investment:
- Costing a fraction of automatic hydraulic presses.
- Perfect for startups and businesses with a limited budget.
2. No Electricity Required (for closing):
- The closing mechanism is 100% manual. You only need power for the feed pump.
- Ideal for remote mining sites or areas with frequent power outages.
3. Zero Maintenance:
- No complex hydraulic stations, no oil leaks, no electrical sensors.
- Anyone can learn to operate it in 5 minutes.
4. Compact & Lightweight:
- Easy to move and install in tight spaces.
Two Types of Jacks: Choose Your Mechanism
We offer two versions based on your preference:
1. Mechanical Screw Jack
- How it works: A large threaded screw is turned by a hand wheel. A ratchet gear increases the torque, allowing one person to generate high pressure easily.
- Best for: Very small presses (320mm – 450mm).
- Advantage: Mechanically simple, never leaks oil.
2. Manual Hydraulic Jack
- How it works: Similar to a car jack. A small hand lever pumps hydraulic oil into a cylinder to close the plates.
- Best for: Mid-sized presses (630mm – 800mm).
- Advantage: Easier to reach higher pressures (up to 12-16 MPa) with less physical effort than a screw jack.

Ideal Applications: Small Scale Solutions

Small Workshops
Edible oil pressing (Coconut, Sunflower). Small-scale electroplating shops. Tofu or Soy Milk production.

Remote Operations
Artisanal gold mining (small tailings ponds). Remote drilling sites.

Laboratory & Pilot
University labs requiring larger cake volume than a benchtop unit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it hard to close by hand?
A: No. Both the screw jack (with gear ratio) and the hydraulic jack are designed to multiply your force. An average person can easily reach the required sealing pressure.
Q: How do I keep the pressure during filtration?
A: For the Screw Jack, the mechanical thread locks the plate pack in place; it won’t loosen. For the Hydraulic Jack, a mechanical locking nut is tightened once pressure is reached to hold the pack securely.
Q: Can I upgrade it to automatic later?
A: No, the frame design is different. If you anticipate growing quickly, we recommend starting with a small Electric Hydraulic model instead.
